In short, no! We cover the basic rules during the session and from there on in the umpires will help you pick up the rules as you go along.

First a member of the Leagues4you team will greet you with a bucket full of encouragement! Then during the session you’ll take part in fun filled warm up games. As the evening continues you’ll progress into match play at your pace, with lots of helpful advice and rule reminders. By the end of the night your netball confidence will be through the roof!

Whether it’s been a few years or 40 years, our Couch2Court sessions are the perfect way for you to jump back into the world of netball! As an average 63% of Couch2Court participators hadn’t played netball for over 10 years before coming to a Couch2Court session. You won’t be alone we promise!

Wear whatever you feel comfortable in, this isn’t a netball catwalk! The only item of clothing we insist on are sports trainers. Don’t forget to bring your own water bottle and confirmation of your booking!

The simple answer is YES! This really is a place for everybody, no matter your shape, size or level of fitness. You can take the session at your own pace, take breaks when you need to and the nice thing about netball is there’s a position for everyone! If you don’t fancy running around the whole court then pick up a GS or GK bib!
